About Me

Efficiency Evangelist | AI Strategist | Builder of Better Businesses

Two Decades of Making Things Work Better

I spent 10 years in defense, then another decade in startups. Along the way I built machine learning systems, wrangled a lot of data, and automated the boring business processes that nobody thinks about until they break.

What I really care about is understanding how businesses actually work. Not the org chart version, but the real version. Where does time disappear? Where does money leak out? What annoys my customers or distracts my best employees? Why are my mechanics answering phones? Why are my receptionists having to leave the desk to bug the technicians? Once you can see those things clearly, you can fix them.

What I Believe

Efficiency Creates Prosperity

When businesses run better, everyone wins. Owners, employees, customers. Efficiency isn't some cold corporate thing. It's what makes people wealthier and happier.

Waste Is the Enemy

Wasted time. Wasted effort. Wasted potential. I think all forms of waste are basically evil. Every bit of inefficiency is a problem waiting to be solved.

LLMs Change Everything

Large language models are a big deal. If you use them right, a small team can now do what used to take an army.

The Great Equalizer

For a long time, big companies had an unfair advantage. They could afford the systems and the people that made them efficient at scale. Smaller competitors, no matter how good their ideas were, just couldn't keep up.

That's changing. With LLMs, a solo founder can now punch way above their weight. You can run operations like a company ten times your size. The playing field is finally starting to level out.

This means the best ideas can actually win now. Not because of deep pockets, but because of clear thinking. Those big, fossilized companies that used to crush innovators with sheer scale? They're in trouble. Agility beats mass when everyone has access to the same tools.

My Mission

I want to help small businesses not just keep up with the big guys. I want to help them beat the big guys. Better use of AI, relentless focus on efficiency, and the kind of innovation and personal service that only small, hungry teams can deliver.

If you're building something and you want an edge, let's talk.
